WHY ARE WE HERE?

let’s be honest, none of us really wants to be here, we all got shit to do – so why are we here? – on this website? – reading?

i blame THEM – THEM who purport to know what they’re talking about – THEM who say it’s all about the business of screenwriting and the film/tv/streaming/etc industry – it’s about the NEED to build a PROFILE – to make oneself less of an unknown quantity – to allow PPs (Potential Partners) to get to know you, provide a glimpse of who you REALLY are

... like, that’s a good thing

i mean, it’s like THEY never heard the line, that old vampire hunter, Abe Lincoln was once supposed to have said: Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than speak and so remove all doubt. 

and yet, here we are – on this website – in which i’ll try (despite my misgivings) to explain myself and share with you, dear PP, some tidbits that may be of some interest
