SCREENPLAY:
REDCAPS
written by ROBERT BRUINEWOUD
GENRE: post-apocalyptic thriller – SHORT, 11-pages
LOGLINE:
Soon after the world narrowly averts destruction at the hands of a global cult, a scavenger and her precious loot are waylaid on her way home.
SYNOPSIS:
While dragging home her loot in a wheelbarrow, a scavenger decides to take a shortcut. She discovers a body and, despite being annoyed by the inconvenience, dutifully records the find for the authorities, as she chats with a friend who is waiting at home. However, while talking, she realises the body has been placed there as bait for a trap! I can't say much more than that, given the script is just 11-pages, except to say that our scavenger barely survives a brutal encounter with two, desperate cultists.
